However, there are over 10 lakh state-run schools in the country. This means it would take over 100 years to repair all the schools.

The state of 80 percent of the public schools is as bad as an abandoned junkyard. If we can provide this education to millions of our kids, just imagine how our country can develop,” Kejriwal said in his letter written in Hindi.

“You have created plans to modernize of 14,500 schools. However, If we proceed at this rate it will take 100 years to modernise all of our public schools.

I would like you to develop an action plan for the redevelopment of all the 10 lakh schools run by the government in this country,” Kejriwal said.

“130 crore of people in India aren’t ready to quit now.All of them want India to be the world’s top nation, a powerful and wealthy nation.” he said further in the letter.
