Mumbai 7th September : Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, proud mother of Taimur and Jeh has shared a few tips that could be in useful for expecting mothers.The actress from ‘Jab We Met’ offered tips on the nutrition of pregnant women in the audiobook ‘Kareena Khan’s Pregnancy Bible: The Ultimate Guide for Moms-to-Be’ with advice from the famous nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar.
Together, they tackle common issues regarding keeping health and health throughout pregnancy including how to eat healthy and the best three foods to consume in every trimester as well as the kinds of exercise that could be incorporated or skipped.
Sharing her diet routine Kareena states: “When I first started working with my nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, she got me to begin my day with a banana .I’ve stayed with this routine ever since.It’s great for your potassium and iron requirements.
“So my day, for me starts with the addition of five almonds and one banana.This hasn’t changed, no matter if I’m pregnant.”
The actress stopped taking caffeine when she was waiting for Taimur to return in the year 2016.
Giving more details about what she had for breakfast, Kareena says in the audiobook: “Breakfast was typically poha and upma, or maybe two Idlis.It’s the most basic Indian diet.I cannot be without it.I quit all caffeine during Taimur’s period.My first pregnancy, and it’s all good, I would like it to be 100% excellent.
“I was mostly non-caffeinated again during my second pregnancies.However, I did enjoy half one cup of tea in the morning.I didn’t have the energy to do the morning Chai.”
Rujuta underscores the importance of exercising during pregnancy.
Exercise during pregnancy can provide a variety of advantages, including increasing stamina, reducing gestational diabetics and aiding in recovery postpartum, as she states in the audiobook: “Pregnancy may seem like the ideal time to lie and unwind.However, unless there’s any complications it’s best to exercise and move to keep in shape and to avoid unnecessary discomfort.
The practice of an exercise routine that is appropriate for pregnancy can help you stay in good health and feel at your best.
“Exercising throughout your pregnancy is not just beneficial for both you and your child.
It helps maintain your strength after delivery also.I was very active throughout.I was very busy.”
