The MP added that the measure, when combined with the contracting of army forces under recruitment programs like Agniveer can make regular work an unattainable dream for the young of the country.349 post-abolitioned positions make up close to 10% of the group of aviation security (ASG) of CISF.

“Our army has more than 1,27,000 vacant positions.Instead of taking immediate steps to fill them on a regular basis, the decision to eliminate posts is a slap in the face to the interests of youngsters Indians who want to secure regular work,” said the letter.

The MP said the decision is detrimental for security of airports The MP stated: “In an era where air travel is becoming more well-known and more airports are being built up the decision to decrease the amount of paramilitary personnel involved in the management of security in aviation is could be detrimental to the security of the airports we have.”
