Mann said that floods caused significant destruction in Abohar, Arniwala, and Jalalabad blocks of the district.

Of of the total amount of 32 crore, damage that was worth 28 crores was caused to the crops, while the rest of the Rs 4 crore of losses was attributed to other homes as well as other structures.

He claimed that the indifferent attitude of the government of the time was evident from the fact that not one penny was paid as compensation for the citizens.
