Mumbai 6th September : Maninee De can be played by Maninee De as the lead character of mother in the short film “Bisexuality,” and she believes that the subject of the movie is provocative but it’s a topic that needs to be discussed and highlighted.
She states: “Unfortunately, we live in an environment where we are placed in boxes and labels and our sexuality kind of defines what we’re like.However, I believe that sexuality is very personal to each person, and everyone should be able to express to be who they are.”

“The way they wish to live their lives and their love language these things are extremely personal to each individual.Therefore, it’s still a taboo topic.And , people don’t talk about it openly.In the present, of course, people are beginning to talk about it.However, there is still a judgement.We can’t be in an illusion and claim that it doesn’t exist.”

The “Jassi Jaissi Koji Nahin actress focuses on the fact that bisexuality does exists in the society , but that people aren’t willing to discuss it.She recounts an event: “I remember somebody telling me that it is because you are bored of one gender.When you decide to switch to the other I was like “oh, okay, what’s the matter’.

Imagine the lack of sensitivity or insensitivity of understanding.I am also unsure of the science behind it or why this happens I am also interested, but not judgmental.”

In a further discussion about the subject, she says: “I’m always up for things that increase awareness and assist in opening minds of people.If I were approached by a film maker, I wanted to know how the creators are going to handle dealing with this delicate subject and they have handled it with the issue beautifully.”

The short film was directed by Shivankar arora and the script was written by Shipra Arora.
