Dubai 6 September : Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan who scored a vital half-century in the team’s thrilling win against India in the Asia Cup Super Four stage at the Dubai International Stadium on September 4 (Sunday) was examined due to an injury to his right knee.Rizwan was injured in the 15th over of the India innings when he fell awkwardly while trying to retrieve an off-spin from Mohammad hasnain from a high position over his head.

Pakistan were hit by a flurry of injuries in their Asia Cup campaign, with speed star Shaheen Shah Afridi being ruled out prior to the tournament and Mohammad Wasim and Shahnawaz Dahani injured during the tournament.
Pakistan play Afghanistan on Wednesday in the Super Four stage of Asia Cup.
