New Delhi, Sep 4 : Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, on Sunday, lashed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the subject of nepotism.He said the Gandhi family was targeted because they are more credible than Modi.Speaking at the Congress”halla bol” rallies in Delhi, he said, “In the last thirty years, nobody from the Gandhi family has held any post in the administration, and neither they were Prime Ministers or Ministers.They are being targeted for their credibility, as they are more reputable than him.”
He declared, “When the Congress workers want them, then why the BJP’s stomach was hurting.” Gehlot spoke just prior to Rahul Gandhi’s speech.He took full advantage of the opportunity to defend his family and to attack the BJP on the subject of inflation.He declared that “democracy was in danger”.
When Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury claimed that “joining the Congress was simple, leaving was simple, but remaining in the Congress isn’t as simple as fighting for your country.”
He was joking at those who quit the party, and more recently Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Another member of the House, Gaurav Gogoi, said, “If the Centre thinks that the Congress is afraid of the ED probe, then come and look at this.We aren’t scared of any agency, and we are going to continue fighting for farmers and the marginalized classes of the nation.”
In a discussion about price increases, Gogoi stated that one of the biggest issues that India is facing today was the price hike and the rising rate of unemployment.”The farmers were not able to get their farms back up and running.The government has put in place GST on nearly everything, which has contributed to their suffering,” Gogoi said further.
“This Modi government is working for the corporates, and his “achche din” has been created for them, not the common folks.
GST on buttermilk, curd, milk and all other important food items,” he said.
“We will not end at this rally, but will continue to go across the entire of the nation.I’d like to assure you that Congress will be with everyone of you throughout the years,” he said.
