Paris 3rd September : Around 1,000 pieces of luggage that were lost during the strike on July 1 at the Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in Paris have still not been handed over A top official has confirmed. “We have about 1000 pieces of luggage that cannot be returned to their owners” Augustin de Romanet the Director of Operations of the Paris Airports Group, told French daily Le Figaro on Friday.

The total of 35,000 pieces of luggage were lost during the strike, a situation that caused a major damage to the image of the airport.
Concerning air traffic, Romanet stated that CDG has risen up to 80 percent of levels in 2019.
In the meantime, Paris Orly airport has returned to its pre-Covid-era passenger flow.
