Mumbai August 31, : In spite of nearly an entire year of its release, the Allu Arjun-directed film ‘Pushpa: the Rise continues to draw attention.This time , the film has made waves on the international stage , as it was recently shown at the Moscow Film Festival.The film was screened in the category of “Block Busters” across the world during the festival.On Instagram the Embassy of India in Moscow shared the poster of Allu Arjun and posted: “We gladly announce that the film ‘Pushpa: The Rise: Part 1 was chosen by the Moscow International Film Festival under the category of Block Buster hits across the globe'”.
“The film ‘Pushpa: The Rise: Part 1″ starring Allu Arjun Fahad Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna and directed by Sukumar Bandreddi has made waves across the globe and was the top grossing film in India for the year 2021” The embassy further said in their Instagram post.
From Allu Arjun’s cult dance song ‘Srivalli’ all the way to his role as a screen star in “Oo Antava Oo Antava’ with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Pushpa has been a box office phenomenon and could make as a case study for the film that broke records at the box office with virtually no marketing or promotion prior to the theatrical release.
The film premiered in theaters with only a bland poster launch and minimal digital engagement.It was a stiff competition to ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ and effectively smashed the multi-star sports drama “83”.The film’s digital premiere further increased the film’s popularity to levels that were previously unheard of.
