Prior to that, he also met with Bharatiya Janata Party’s deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis.

In a brief interaction with media representatives afterward, Ramdev said that CM Shinde is a shining example of Sanatan Hindutva who has been pursuing the principles of the Shiv Sena founder, the late Balasaheb Thackeray with whom he enjoyed a warm relationship.

“Now, Eknath Shinde is the true inheritor of Balasaheb Thackeray’s legacy of Hindutva,” declared Ramdev, his nephew Ravi Rana is an independent MLA from Amravati. The wife of Rana Navneet Kaur-Rana, an independent MLA from the same district.

Ramdev’s comments have raised eyebrows in Sena circles with spokesperson Kishore Tiwari pondering what “is the purpose” of Ramdev to comment on the legacy of Balasaheb Thackrayay.

“Ramdev himself is a corrupt person. He is granting suo-moto certificates to the unholy alliance of Shinde-Fadnavis that has not gained credibility or the respect of the population of the country, and the issue is in the hands of the courts.” Tiwari said.Tiwari.

The Rana couple gained notoriety in April when they initiated an active agitation to chant the Hanuman Chalisa at the residence of the then Maha Vikas Aghadi’s ex-CM Uddhav Thackeray.

After a sudden revolt from Shinde along with 50 MLAs who supported the Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress MVA government, Thackeray quit in end-June.
