San Francisco, Aug 30 : The iPhone 14 lineup may arrive with 30W fast charging, which is a huge increase from the 20W utilized in the iPhone 13 lineup.According to reports that an unnamed brand of charger is believed to be offering 30W iPhone 14 adapters for early access and review.
The company believes that Apple will announce 30W charging as an option of the iPhone 14 series, reports AppleInsider.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max was capable of supporting 27W charging for a short period in the test, indicating that 30W support is feasible.
It’s not known if the 30W charge is only available to iPhone 14 Pro models or be accessible to all four iPhone 14 models.
Apple recently launched two USB-C Dual 35W Power Adapters to be used to charge the MacBook Air and iPhone simultaneously.
The iPhone 14 lineup is set to be revealed at the event scheduled for September 7.
The new iPhone 14, to be manufactured in India about two months following its China production will feature four models: an 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a new 6.7-inch iPhone 14, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and an 6.7 iPhone 14 Pro Max according to reports.
Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 14 base model is expected to retail for $799 which is the same that the iPhone 13.
The tech giant may have stopped production of the 5.4-inch iPhone mini this year.
