New Delhi, Aug 29 : As Reliance Jio gets prepared to launch its own ‘True 5G services before Diwali this year in important metro cities The company has joined forces with several of the world’s top technology giants to be important partners in the’made in India 5G collaboration.
While Jio joined forces with Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta (formering Facebook) for immersive technology, it has also partnered with Google to develop ultra-priced 5G smartphones.

With Cloud, Jio has partnered Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure to create a robust ecosystem of cloud-enabled business apps and services for millions of users.

The company has selected chip maker Intel for its cloud-scale data centers and 5G edge locations and has strong relationships with the top global network technology providers such as Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung and Cisco.

Jio also formed a partnership with Qualcomm to create 5G-related solutions for India that could be rolled out into the rest of the world.

With JioAirFiber users can get rid with the cost of purchasing computer hardware and regularly updating it, and choose for a virtual computer located in the cloud — referred to as Jio Cloud PC.

With no upfront cost or the stress of periodic upgrade users are required to pay only for the amount they use which results in an extremely affordable way to provide the power of PCs, and even multiple PCs in each Indian residential and commercial.

Meta and Jio Platforms also announced the launch of the first ever end-to-end shopping experience for WhatsApp users can shop at JioMart directly within their WhatsApp chat.

Jio is expected to launch 5G service in four cities in the metrofour cities namely Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai – by Diwali.

They will be extended to other towns and cities in stages, and will cover all of the country by the end of December 2023.
