Dubai 29 August : Former India captain Virat Kohli has praised the team’s “special victory” against the arch-rivals Pakistan in the current Asia Cup 2022 on Sunday.Hardik Pandya’s all-round performance helped India beat Pakistan with five wickets.
Kohli who returned from a break of a month also contributed with a well-constructed 35 from 34 balls.
The star player praised the team’s performance following the victory over Pakistan.”Special victory on a very special day” he captioned the post on the Koo app.
India pacer Mohammad Shami said it was fantastic match in Pakistan and felicitated the team on their win.
“Tonight it was a fantastic match and victory .Well done boys, congratulations on the victory, well done.” Shami Kooed.
Former India wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha hailed Hardik Pandya performance following India’s victory over Pakistan.
“What an amazing accomplishment Team India! Many felicitations,” he said on the Koo app.
Hardik was awarded the title “Man of the Match’ due to his flawless performance during the match as India chased down the score of 148 in the last match in Dubai.
India will now go to war with Hong Kong on Wednesday while Pakistan will play Hong Kong on Friday.
In the meantime, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will clash in the third game of the tournament on Tuesday.
