Bengaluru 25 Aug : The law of the country is being used to impose cases on me.I believe in the law.They are torturing me and everyone else around me.I’m ready to take any punishment, Karnataka State Congress president D K Shivakumar stated on Thursday, expressing his anger at the BJP government.Responding to a recent warning sent to Vijay Mulugund by the CBI, Shivakumar stated that Vijay is the general secretary of the Congress party and that he is in my circle of friends.Notices have been sent to around 30-40 people who have connections to business and have conducted letters of transactions with Vijay, he added.
“I have decided to not talk about it and will only answer the question legally.I have information about the specifics of the amount of property owned by the the ruling BJP netas during their time as MLAs, and the amount they have now as ministers.I also collect information.It is my belief that I will be of the belief that my integrity will be appreciated and my organization will receive the respect it deserves,” Shivakumar maintained.
“Let them do whatever they want I’m ready,” Shivakumar underlined.”A former BJP minister owes the Apex bank Rs 600 cr to 700 crore amount of loan to the Apex bank.the former minister K S Eshwarappa was given an unrestricted chit prior to the investigation, but there is no action taken, not even an official letter has been sent to Prime Minister Modi to protest against the ruling BJP.We need to discuss this,” Shivakumar stated.
Shivakumar claimed that authorities have taken the property belonging to his mother.”Can motherhood be considered a threat to the property of her son? Do you want to be more harassed than this? Let them abuse the ED Tax, Revenue Tax and the other departments.I’m ready,” he said.
Shivakumar was detained in an investigation into money laundering by the ED and later released.
The Congress supported Shivakumar and promoted him to the position of the state president.He received an ovation in Karnataka after his release from prison.
