Lucknow 25 August : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on the evening of Thursday inaugurated 42 electric buses to be used in the towns of Lucknow as well as Kanpur.In his remarks, Yogi Adityanath said, “The most urgent need of the moment is a public transport system that is free of pollution and noise.Of of 100 cities that are being designed as smart cities in the country, 10 of them are made up of UP.”
He added that the introduction of electric buses would enhance connectivity.
Out of the 42 buses, 34 will be used in Lucknow while eight will be based in Kanpur.
