New Delhi, Aug 25 : India reported 10,725 fresh Covid cases and 36 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry on Thursday.The day before, the nation had seen the recording of 10,649 Covid cases.
With the addition of 36 Covid deaths, the national death toll is now 5,27,488.
The caseload of the nation has dropped to 94,047, accounting for 0.21 percent of the total positive cases.
The recuperation of 1308 patients in the last 24 hours increased the total number to 4,37,57,385.Thus, India’s rate of recovery is 98.60 percent.
The rate of positivity in India’s daily life has risen marginally to 2.73 percent, whereas the rate of positivity for the week is 3.20 per cent.
Additionally, in the past 24 hours in the last 24 hours, an aggregate of 3,92,837 test were conducted across the nation, bringing the total to more than 88.39 crore.
As of Thursday morning the Covid-19 vaccination rate in India was higher than 210.82 crore, achieved through 2,80,585,526 sessions.
More than 4.01 million adolescents have been given with the initial dose of Covid-19 jab since beginning of vaccination drives for this age group.
