Russian strike on Dnipropetrovsk train station kills 15: Zelensky

Kiev 25 Aug : Russian shelling of the Chaplyne train station in Ukraine’s central Dnipropetrovsk region has killed at least 15 people and injured more than fifty others, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
According to initial photos taken from the site that haven’t yet been confirmed, a train passenger train was struck, the DPA news agency reported.

“Rescue personnel are working.Unfortunately the number of dead could increase,” Zelensky said by video message to the UN Security Council in New York.”This is the way we live each day.This is the way Russia has been getting ready for the UN Security Council meeting.”

Rail infrastructure and train stations have repeatedly been damaged during the conflict that began the sixth month of its existence on Wednesday.In April, at the very least at least 57 died in an attack at the Kramatorsk station.

Russia launched an attack on neighboring Ukraine on February 24,, but after failing to advance towards Kiev, the capital of Ukraine Kiev, Moscow pulled back to concentrate on capturing regions dominated by separatists in the east as well as south of the country.

However the war isn’t leaving any area of the country unaffected.

In another region in Dnipropetrovsk in Russia, an 11-year-old boy was killed by Russian shelling on Wednesday according to local officials.

Ukrainian authorities reported earlier on Wednesday attacks in various locations across the country including the Khmelnytskyi region in the west , and the Shytomyr region in the north.
