Chennai 24 Aug : The producers of director Nelson Dilipkumar’s highly-anticipated “Jailer,” which stars the superstar Rajinikanth in the leading role role, officially announced the names of the actors of the film on Wednesday.The unit known as ‘Jailer’ posted a video on social media, which welcomed actors and actresses into the unit.
According to IANS The actress Ramya Pandian and Malayalam actor Vinayakan were part of the cast and were received with appreciation by the team.
Two other actors whose names appeared in the list of actors included comedian Yogi Babu and actor Vasanth Ravi.
It is interesting that the company has not yet revealed the name of the actress who will play the female character in the movie.
Filming began on Monday at an area which, at one time was home to an upscale restaurant and hotel.
The film will be Rajinikanth’s 169thfilm, is directed by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures and features Anirudh music director Anirudh.
The well-known stylist Aalim Hakim is being hired in to style the star for the film.
The other members of the crew and cast are still to be announced.
