Panaji 24 Aug : Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, on Wednesday, said the police of the state are diligently investigating the cause of Haryana BJP chief and actor Sonali Phogat’s murder however, a cardiac arrest of some sort could be the reason of it. “The DGP is personally monitoring the situation.While it is believed to be a cardiac arrest, we’ll be able to conduct a post-mortem.The investigation is ongoing,” Sawant said.
According to Goa police, Phogat was uneasy on Monday night .She was admitted to a hospital in the morning following (Tuesday) at about 8 a.m.The hospital was where she was declared to the grave.
On Tuesday on Tuesday, Police sent a letter to the Department of Forensic Medicine at Goa Medical College for appointing the panel of doctors to conduct the post-mortem.
The autopsy is scheduled to be completed later in the day.
