Jerusalem 24 August : Israel and the US have signed the first agreement for cyber-financial collaboration in the country, the Israeli Ministry of Finance has stated in an announcement.The agreement, which was signed by the Israeli ministry and the US Department of the Treasury will aid in strengthening the long-standing relationships and cooperation between both countries, according to the statement was reported as saying by Xinhua news agency.
The agreement also includes sharing of financial cyber security information including threats, cybersecurity and work methods to increase the security of the financial system.
Both countries have also agreed to conduct joint cyber-financial exercises across borders, with the first drill scheduled to be held in the coming months, according to the statement.
