Mumbai 20th August : actor Anurag Vyas who played antagonist Shyam in Gul Khan’s web series ‘Aashiqana’ , has completed his filming for the series’ first season.He states: “The first season of our show is over and I’ve completed my shoots.I am blessed to have the chance to be under the direction of Gul ma’am and with an incredible team.”
“I always wanted my fans to remember me by my screen name, and the show has helped make my wish come real.People now call me “Shyam”.”
The ‘Naagin’ actor says that playing the role has been a boon in his acting career.He was portraying the psychopath who reveals himself in the eyes of people as physically disabled person and kindhearted, however, in the real world he is murderer.
He says: “I feel in my acting career, to date, this show has been the most rewarding since I have gained the fame that every actor would like to have.The character was truly unique.I had the opportunity to play many layers.The creators have adored and appreciated my part so much that they’ve modified it to make it more unique for me.”
Anurag is looking forward an unplanned break before resuming shooting for the second time in the season.
“I have completed my shoots.Following my show , ‘Rakshabandhana – Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal’ finished, I wanted to go back to my brother and mother in Bikaner, Rajasthan but I didn’t have the chance due to this show.”
“But finally, I’m going to take a short break.After that, I’ll begin shooting in the second season.
My part in the following season will be much more significant.My audience will be able to discover the new aspect of me.I’m very happy for Gul ma’am.” he concludes.
