Chennai 17 August : The creators of the Malayalam famous film “Lucifer” on Wednesday announced that they had started the work on ‘Empuraan’ the sequel of the series.Producer Antony Perumbavoor took to Twitter to announce “The long wait is over! Aashirvad Cinemas proudly presents ‘Empuraan The next installment of the “Lucifer” series.The script for the film is locked in and we’re now entering the process of pre-production.”
The producer also shared the link to the YouTube video featuring the entire team of the film – director Prithviraj and writer Murali Gopy and actor Mohanlal who is the lead role in the film and Antony Perumbavoor, who is the producertalking about the film’s the film ‘Empuraan’.
Actor Prithviraj who is also the director of the film, stated that the film will be a commercial entertainment film starring Mohanlal.”We are beginning the actual process of creating the film today.We hope to keep you informed regularly about how things are going.”
Murali Gopy on the other hand, stated that this will be the second installment in the trilogy of three films.
“Lucifer,” which debuted in 2019 and marked the debut as a director of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, became as a blockbuster in just eight days.It made more than 200 crore which makes it the highest-grossing Malayalam film to date.
