New Delhi, Aug 16 : AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi has slammed the Union government on Tuesday for the targeted murders of Kashmiri people in J&K and claimed that the Central government not provided security to the community. His comments came shortly after terrorists killed an Kashmiri Pandit and injured his brother in J&K’s Shopian district on Tuesday.
Owaisi claimed that the BJP-appointed L-G in J&K has proven to be ineffective, adding that the removal of Article 370 did not help, as the Central government has not provided the security required for Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley.
“This is yet another instance of the insanity of the Narendra Modi government.
The responsibility to protect the lives of Kashmiri Pandits in J&K is with the BJP and the Union government,” Owaisi said.
According to the sources of police, terrorists fired upon Sunil Kumar and his son Pitambar Pinto alias Pinto in Chotigam village in Shopian district on Tuesday.
“Sunil Kumar died immediately, and his brother Pitambar was taken to a hospital,” sources said.
According to reports, both brothers were not migrant workers and lived in their ancestral home village, which is in which the murderers struck.
