Chennai 16 August : The long-awaited run of Lokesh Kanakaraj’s action-adventure ‘Vi which stars Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in the lead role the film, continues with the film having completed its 75 days in theatres.Making use of Twitter to make announcements, Raaj Kamal Films International the production company of actor Kamal Haasan that produced the film, tweeted, “Juggernaut of Indian cinema.#75DaysofVikram is on the way!”
The movie has already made through the records, breaking all box-office records currently in place in Tamil Nadu.
The film grossed 150 crore in just 17 days in the state.
The total box office earnings of the film exceeded 400-crore threshold in the month of June.Even today, the film has a solid run in theaters.
The dream run in cinemas continues despite film’s release through the OTT platform Disney + Hotstar on July 8.
“Vikram,” which has been flooded with praise from all over the world and hasn’t just amazed Indian trade circles on its own and has left International markets in awe.
Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the Kamal Haasan-Vijay Sethupathi-Fahadh Faasil-Suriya-starrer had its worldwide theatrical release on June 3.
