Srinagar 16 August : Militants killed one local Kashmiri Pandit and injured his brother on Tuesday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district.Police sources claimed that the militants fired on Sunil Kumar, son of Arjun Nath as well as his brother Pitambar known as Pinto in the Chotigam village of Shopian district.
“Sunil Kumar died immediately, as his brother Pitambar Pinto, alias Pinto was taken to a hospital.
“The region has been sealed off and reinforcements were rushed into the village to catch the killers,” sources said.
According to reports, both brothers were not migrant workers and lived in their village of origin when the killers struck.
