Chennai 12 August : Director Vignesh Shivan announced on Friday that his wife actress Nayanthara and he were heading to Barcelona in Spain for an extended vacation.Posting photos of Nayanthara and himself in an airplane on Instagram, Vignesh Shivan wrote, “After a continuous streak of work and work, here we are taking a break to ourselves! #Barcelona here we go !”
The director then decided to add another photo with an additional post that reads, “Enroute to Barcelona with my wife!”
The director who was an integral component of the team responsible for planning the closing and opening ceremonies of the Chess Olympiad that was recently held in Chennai and has been hard at work over the past few weeks.
He is in celebration mode as the role he took in creating the event an enormous success has been recognized across the globe.
In actual fact, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin too had named the director’s name while thanking everyone for making the world-class event a huge success.
In reference to the Chief Minister’s decision to take his name, the director posted on Instagram wrote “Unforgettable moment in life when the honorable Chief Minister M K Stalin mentioned my name with the most gracious and most positive words! This shows the humility and kindness of the man.My sister and mom present, my wife watching the event on TV and a plethora of relatives and friends were so thrilled and proud in this moment.Thank you sir.The hard work you put in was worth this beautiful moment.”
