Mumbai 12 August : Mumbai, Aug 12 : Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed former ministers Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Ashish Shelar as the head of the party’s Maharashtra and Mumbai units as per an announcement.Bawankule and Shelar, both currently sitting legislators, will take over Chandrakant Patil and Mangal Prabhat Lodha who were appointed ministers in the government of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis at the beginning of this week.
According to a statement made released by BJP President J.P.Nadda The two nominations are taken with immediate effect and are made ahead of the upcoming elections for diverse civic institutions in the state.
