San Francisco, Aug 10 : Music streaming giant Spotify has unveiled a fresh design for its home screen of its mobile app, which includes feeds for Music as well as Shows and Podcasts.
The company announced that this feature is now rolling out to Android users and will shortly be available for iOS.
“By making these feeds available, Spotify will help listeners to easily browse through the kind of content they’re seeking at the time,” the platform said in an article on its blog.
“The new interface will give users a more personalized experience while allowing users to go further into their suggestions,” it added.
Through the Music feed listeners will get easy access to suggestions according to their musical preferences which makes finding new favorites easier than ever before.
Additionally, there will be playlist and album recommendations , as and buttons to allow users to share, share like or immediately play music.
In the feed for Podcasts and Shows viewers can immediately access new episodes of their favorite shows.
You can also find personalized podcast recommendations.
In addition listeners can browse the descriptions of each episode, save them your favorite Episodes or begin playing podcasts from the same page without having to leave, meaning the experience begins from the same place.
The platform launched new buttons for Play and Shuffle.
The company stated that the new feature lets Premium subscribers select the music they like in the uppermost part of albums and playlists, and then listen to them in the way they prefer to.
