Chandigarh 9 Aug : Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday informed the Assembly that instructions would be given to conclude the vigilance probe in giving tenders to build of roads in the Municipal Corporation Faridabad and strict action will be taken against employees who have erred.Responding to an inquiry in the Question Hour, the Chief Minister explained that it was specified in the Rule 8 of the Municipal Rules of 1976 that only a 10 percent increase can be made in the building work.
“No further enhancements are permitted.But, in many cases there was an increase of greater than 10.This is due to the interpreted meaning of Rule 8 is not right,” he said.
Khattar said that instructions would be issued to the department to rectify the misunderstanding.”If there’s more than 10% increase, then a re-tender must be conducted.”
The Chief Minister stated that it was determined that the road should be constructed of concrete, and not of tar.”If there’s any form of corruption in the road the it will be investigated.an investigation.”
In response to a different question In response to a different question, Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma said that the government is determined to stop taking of heavy vehicles in the state.
A strict fines of vehicles that are loaded is enforced by enforcement agencies, he said.
From April 1 until July 31st between April 1 and July 31, a total of 1575 overloaded vehicles were issued challans along with a fine of Rs 66,483,36,100 was collected.Additionally, 460 driving licenses and 152 permits were removed.
Responding to a question the Vice Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said there was no plan of the government for the release of the 1,810 acres of Kasan, Kukrola and Shravan villages in Gurugram district.The compensation will be paid to the landowners according to the law.
He stated that the matter is currently pending before the Supreme Court.The Revenue and Disaster Management Department had issued the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Policy of 2010.
“As in this policy the residential plots are allocated to landowners who are eligible in place of their newly acquired land.”
On the issue of offering market rates for the owner of the land acquired by the member Satya Prakash he stated that the government would seek to compensate.
The Chief Minister announced to the assembly at Zero Hour that the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for the selection of around 28,000 Group C and Group-D posts will be held on November 5 6, and 7.
He stated that it was determined to run the CET exam via the nation’s testing agency.
