Seoul 8 August : The popular K-pop girl group BLACKPINK will release ‘Pink Venom”, a song from its forthcoming second album, which will be released on the 19th of August. The song and the music video will be released on various music streaming services as well as YouTube on August 19 at 1 p.m.on the 19th of August, YG Entertainment said, reports Yonhap News Agency.
“The combination of the color symbolizing BLACKPINK as well as the word that means poison is a powerful combination,” a company official stated.
A few days ago, the group announced in a teaser clip that it would prerelease some of the album’s highly anticipated tracks this month prior to releasing the full album in September.
In October the group will kick off its biggest-ever world tour to meet their international fans.
The album to be released in the coming months will mark the band’s first album with all four of them in just one year ten months.
The last album released by the whole group came out in October of 2020 with the band’s debut full-length album’The Album The Album’, which includes the main single ‘Lovesick Girl’ and “How You Like That’ the song that was pre-released.
