Bhopal 6 August : A squad of the Madhya Pradesh police reached the Congress’s headquarter in the state, Indira Gandhi Bhavan, located in Shivaji Nagar here on Saturday.They arrived without prior notification at 1.30 p.m.and just before the group of the party headed by Vice Director of the MPCC Media Department, Sangeeta Sharma, was scheduled to depart the office in order to present an Tricolour to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat, a source from the party said to IANS.
The RSS chief who is on a trip of three days to Bhopal He will be at the final meeting of Vishwa Sangh Siksha Varg.
The goal of the programme is to spread Indian values into the lives of Hindus living abroad .The closing ceremony will take place on August 7.
The Madhya Pradesh Congress unit had announced on Friday that they would give the Tricolour to Mohan Bhagwat during his visit to Bhopal on Saturday.As per their plans the Congress leaders were about to leave when officials arrived, and they erected large police forces in front of the Congress headquarters.
The Bhopal police has yet make any announcement on this issue.
The Congress and the BJP has been involved in an argument over the “Har Ghar Tiranga” program that is an element of the ‘Azadi Mahotsav celebrations.
