Harare 6 August : Bangladesh top-order batter and prolific run-getter Litton Das has been exiled from of the two remaining One-day International (ODI) matches against hosts Zimbabwe due to an injury to his hamstring during the first game at the Harare Sports Club on Friday.The right-handed right-hander, 27, was batting at 81 when he fell ill when Bangladesh scored 331/2 in 50 overs in the first ODI.Zimbabwe then surpassed the score in 48.2 innings to gain an 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.

Das was injured when he tried to finish the run on the field on.He was then complaining of discomfort and had to be removed from the field.
After the game, Bangladesh team physio Muzadded Alpha Sany confirmed the nature of Das injury.
He stated, “Litton Das hurt his hamstring while playing in the first ODI.We sent him to scans during the game.
“He is suffering from an injury to his muscle of grade 2.It takes anywhere from three to four weeks to heal from this kind of injury.Therefore, we’re not seeing Litton (back) in the current series.” ICC quoted Sany as saying.
Bangladesh will start their Asia Cup campaign underway against Afghanistan on August 30.
