Hyderabad cyber crime police have arrested two people in a loan app case.63 laptops and 19 mobile phones were seized from them.Shabbir Aleem and Umakant Yadav were arrested and remanded in custody after raiding a Chinese call center.CCS Joint Commissioner of Police Gajrao Bhopal said the call center, which has more than 100 employees in Bangalore, has so far identified 40 apps.
The call center will be based in Bangalore.Sending obscene messages to relatives if the loan is not paid.Bhopal said WhatsApp messages were being sent to a Chinese man named Chan Chouping that all their data would reach a server in China.He said that so far this year, 50 cases have been registered regarding loan apps and a letter has been written to Google asking it to delete 221 loan apps.
Bhopal said Chan Chowping, the main accused in the case, had now fled to China.
