The intensity of the corona is decreasing day by day.Everyday new cases of corona are also greatly reduced.Omicron cases in the country have also dropped drastically.Corona new cases have dropped below 10,000.
On Monday (February 28), 8,013 new cases were reported in the country, with 119 corona deaths reported.Of the newly registered corona deaths, 62 were from Kerala and 17 from Karnataka.
Currently, there are 1,02,601 corona active cases in the country.The number of active cases is 0.24 per cent.
The daily positive rate of the corona reached 1.11 percent.So far 4,29,24,130 corona cases have been reported in the country.5,13,843 corona deaths have been reported.Maharashtra (1,43,697), Kerala (65,223), Karnataka (39,936), Tamil Nadu (38,003), Delhi (26,122), Uttar Pradesh (23,543) and West Bengal (21,175) are among the corona deaths so far across the country.
About 70 per cent of them are suffering from problems like comorbidities, the Union Ministry said.The recovery rate was also 98.56 per cent.On Sunday (February 28) 16,765 people recovered from the corona.
So far 4,23,07,686 people have recovered from the corona, the Union Ministry of Medical Health said in a statement.Corona vaccination across the country combined with two doses has so far crossed the total of 177.44 crores so far.
