Municipal Minister KTR along with Minister Talsani Srinivas Yadav will inaugurate various development works worth Rs 61 crore in Begumpet division under Sanath Nagar constituency at 8.30 am on Saturday.Many years of waiting by the people of Begumpet have paid off with the initiative of Minister Talsani Srinivas Yadav.
Every year, people in Prakash Nagar, Allantota Bavi, Brahmana Wadi, Mataji Nagar, Vaddera Basti and other places are inundated with flood water coming from above the Begumpet canal.
Locals claim that no one has cared to solve this problem for the past 40 years.
Minister Talsani Srinivas Yadav brought to the notice of Chief Minister KCR and Municipal Minister KTR the plight of the people in the vicinity of Nala.
As a result of the efforts of Minister Talsani Srinivas Yadav, the government has sanctioned Rs 45 crore for the development of Begumpet Nala under the SNDP program.Srinivas Yadav said the flood problem would be permanently resolved with the Nala development works to be undertaken with these funds.
Minister Talsani Srinivas Yadav thanked Chief Minister KCR and Municipal Minister KTR for allocating funds for Nala development works and for taking the initiative to resolve the issue.
