Revanth Reddy called on the Director General Police (DGP), Friday to bring K.T.(state minister) under the Disaster Management Act into evidence.Rama Rao organized a Nalgonda rally.
A massive rally was held in Nalgonda despite the ban on rallies and public meetings.Rama Rao, the state minister of industry and information technology visited Nalgonda to lay foundation stones for the IT Hub.He also participated in several other programs.

Revanth Reddy was put under house arrest in Hyderabad in order to prevent him attending Bhupalapally’s protest program.

He claimed that he had been illegally detained in violation of the Disaster Management Act.Rama Rao was permitted to hold a Nalgonda rally.

Revanth Reddy is also a Member.He tweeted about the double standards in Telangana police.Revanth Reddy demanded that DGP M.Mahender Reddy immediately file a case against Rama Rao under the same Act.

KTR (or Rama Rao as he is commonly known) is the son of Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao, and is working president of Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS).

A large rally was organized by hundreds of TRS workers to welcome KTR at Nalgonda.Many of the party workers were not wearing masks and were riding on two-wheelers.

The ruling party was criticized by netizens for its blatant disregard of Covid-19 regulations, as well as the ban on public rallies and meetings.The citizens questioned the exemptibility of political parties from the police’s imposing Rs 1000 on the common man who didn’t wear a face mask.

In light of Omicron’s threat, Omicron is a new form of Covid-19, the state government issued a ban on rallies and public meetings last week.

On Thursday, the DGP directed police commissioners to enforce the ban.

The president also requested that the officers raise awareness about the need to adhere to the regulations set forth by the government, such as the wearing of mandatory masks and keeping social distance.
