New Delhi/Beijing 31 December : .Huawei has been hard hit by US sanctions. The company warned it that the “serious problems” of US sanctions will be a part of “politicisation and technology” and “deglobalization” in 2022.China’s conglomerate expects 634 billion Yuan ($99.45 Billion) in revenues in 2021.This is a 28.88 decrease from the 891.4 billion in 2020.
Guo Ping (Haiku’s rotating chairman) stated that the company’s carrier business was stable and that it saw growth in its enterprise unit.
Ping stated that “an unpredictable business environment and the politicization of technology all pose serious challenges.”
He said, “Against this background, we must stick to our strategy” and react rationally to forces external to our control.”
In November, Joe Biden (US President) signed legislation banning Chinese technology companies such as Huawei and ZTE in order to prevent them from being approved for licenses for their network equipment in the United States.
The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), last year designated Huawei and ZTE national security threats to communication networks. This makes it more difficult for US companies to purchase equipment from these two firms.
Ping stated that Huawei will continue to focus on smart devices and infrastructure, while looking to provide faster customer service with shorter management chains.According to ZDNet, this meant the creation of “integrated teams”, and “domain-specific subsidiary,”
According to him, Huawei will be looking to simplify its business decisions by giving greater autonomy to local offices in 2022.
He said that Huawei will increase its investments in HarmonyOS, EulerOS.
EulerOS, Huawei’s cloud-based infrastructure platform, is described as EulerOS.It is based on Huawei’s Linux OS.
HarmonyOS supports over 220 million Huawei smartphones and more than 100,000,000 devices that have been developed by third parties.According to Huawei, HarmonyOS is currently supported on more than 100million devices.
Brendan Carr, FCC Commissioner had stated that “Once it has been determined that Huawei and other gear pose an unacceptable national security threat, it does not make sense for that same equipment to continue to be bought and integrated into our communication networks so long as federal funds are not used.” These insecure devices are the danger, and not their source of financing.
