She is currently being seen on ‘The Whistleblower,’ streaming on Sony Liv.The former earned Ridhi immense attention and she was therefore invited to audition for multiple acting roles.
I didn’t have many, but people began reaching out to me after reading ‘Lust Stories.’ She tells IANS that it all comes down to preparing, waiting for the recognition, and then making good use of it.”
She is originally from Canada and began her modeling career in 2016.
Khakhar said that signing up to ‘The Whistleblower’ was crucial because the character wasn’t just another beautiful face.
Her character made it easy to delve into the sibling dynamics.There was so much more I could discover.What is the best way to treat each sibling in a family? And what makes them a better person for the outside world? She says that it is about creating a character to help you view the world in a new way, which can prove very fascinating.”
She was actually not in the country at the time she received an audition call.So she sent the team a self test and was shortlisted.
It was very smooth.
She recalls having a phone conversation with Manoj Pillai, the director of the company.He then confirmed my role.”
Khakhar said that Prachi definitely suffers from the “baby sister syndrome” when discussing her role in the series.She is protected and she’s spoilt.
She may be thought to be manipulative or controlling, but her true nature is naive.She believes that she is able to control people, but they don’t exist outside of her family.
She is a dumb person who makes bad decisions without ever being able to predict the results.
She was trained by several acting teachers including Mukesh Chhabra.
She is currently working alongside Prakash Bhardwaj who is Aamir Khan’s acting coach.
I love to learn new techniques, and understand how acting is done by other people.For confidence building, formal training is essential.But, learning to act is an ongoing process.
You need to take classes and do your research.Also, you should study other actors on your own.
The actor stresses that the digital platform has been instrumental in changing India’s cinema landscape.He feels there is plenty of room for content to appeal to younger audiences in different cities and regions.
These platforms offer great opportunities for actors, as well as other professionals from different fields.
Khakhar would also like to collaborate with directors who are willing to travel the unpaved road.
Khakhar believes that it is the right time to tell cutting-edge stories in innovative ways.
There are many stories out there that just wait to be discovered.”I would be honored to take part in the discovery of these stories.”
The actor is a big fan of South Korean cinema and says she wouldn’t mind if language was a barrier to great cinema.
I’m open for films in any industry.It’s about the story and character.”Super Delux” was a film I saw recently and it left me absolutely elated.
