Chandigarh : , December 28th, 2008 – The Manohar Khattar-led Haryana council of ministers was increased on Tuesday by the introduction of Kamal Gupta (BJP) and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), Devendra Babli (JJP), as cabinet ministers.Induction increases Khattar’s strength to 14 ministers, including the Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala and his deputy Dushyant Chautala.
At the swearing in ceremony at Raj Bhavan, Governor Bandaru Dattatraya gave the oaths of office and secretarial to the new officers.
Gupta administered the oath of allegiance in Sanskrit; Babli performed it in Hindi.
Khattar, Chautala and other ministers were also present.Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta and Deputy Speaker Ranbir Bandwa as well as senior officials, police and administrative officers and family members of ministers who took the oath.
