Bengaluru 27 December : .The state has imposed a night curfew in order to protect public health.
Basavaraj Bommai, Chief Minister of Karnataka, told media personnel on Monday.BPL families who have lost loved ones due to Covid-19 are receiving solatium.
He said that a similar program is also being conducted in Bengaluru.
He said that the decision was taken to protect public health after discontent from the business community regarding the midnight curfew.
Tourist spots will be subject to strict Covid rules.
In Hubballi, the BJP State Executive Committee will meet to discuss matters related to party organisation as well as other developments.
He said that the meeting is usually held every two months and would make important decisions.
Bommai replied to questions about the expected expansion of cabinet.
He said that it was an internal issue and that the party’s high command would make a decision.The party and government work in good harmony.
He said that the government would come up with better programmes over the coming days and will seek public mandate for 2023 based on its positive work for people.
