Moscow, December 14, : .Boris Johnson was informed by Vladimir Putin during a telephone call about his assessment of Ukraine’s current situation.Johnson was concerned about the large-scale Russian troop movement along Ukraine’s borders.The Kremlin stated this Monday in a statement.
Johnson was given specific examples by Putin of Kiev’s authorities preventing the Minsk Agreements from being implemented.”These agreements are an uncontested basis to resolve the Ukrainian internal crisis.”
Xinhua reported that the Russian president also mentioned the discrimination in Ukraine against Russian-speaking people.
He underlined the need to immediately begin negotiations on clear and internationally legal agreements against the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation’s further eastward expansion and against the deployment of weapons in Russia’s neighbours, primarily Ukraine.
The Russian side will present draft documents on this issue, Putin added.
