New Delhi, December 13, 2013 : .Chief Ministers from 12 BJP-ruled states will be in Varanasi for a conclave that begins Monday.
Nine Deputy Chief Ministers are also expected to attend.J.P.Nadda will address the inaugural session, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the valedictory speech.
Arun Singh (BJP National Secretary), stated that 12 Chief Ministers participated from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.They also hail from Haryana, Goa, Gujarat.Himachal Pradesh is Karnataka.Madhya Pradesh.Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand.
The Deputy Chief Ministers of Bihar as well as the Deputy Chief minister of Nagaland are also expected to be present.
Singh stated, “From the hills to the coast states, from northeast India to south India, from western India to eastern India and from the center of India to its westernmost, the conclave would encapsulate India’s diversity.”
The conclave would witness productive and extensive deliberations about a broad range of topics relating to governance and pro-people initiatives, in keeping with the BJP’s emphasis on all-round development.
The Chief Ministers will showcase the best governance practices from each state.This conclave gives the Chief Ministers an opportunity to share their experiences and learn from each other, and will highlight what they have done well.
Singh noted that Modi, the Prime Minister of India, has been a Chief Minister for 13 years and is therefore sensitive to the needs of the state.
“As Prime Minister, he has always worked in line with the mantra of cooperative federalism.
Through the Covid-19 pandemic, regular meetings were held with Chief Ministers and they were consulted on different aspects of fighting the pandemic,” he said.
The conclave’s proceedings will begin after the Kashi Vishwanath Dham corridor is launched by the Prime Minister.
The Chief Ministers will also join various cultural and spiritual programmes, including a visit to the Ghats’ and witness Ganga Aarti by boat.
Besides Nadda and Modi, BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L.Santhosh will also join the deliberations.
Union Minister Bhupender Yadav and former BJP national vice president Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, who has been associated with the PARTY’s ‘Good Governance Department’, will also be presenT.
