New Delhi, Dec 5, : – The National Investigation Agency has filed a supplementary charging sheet against Mohammed Nakeem Khan.He is an operative of a terror outfit.Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen (TuM), an official said on Sunday.The agency mentioned the possibility of obtaining arms, ammunition, explosives, and heroin from him.The chargesheet was filed Saturday
NIA’s investigation has revealed that Nakeem Khan and other accused and handlers of TuM / JKGF were part of a conspiracy to transport arms, ammunition, and narcotics across the border from Line of Control in Balakot to Poonch.
In June and October of last year, the NIA had filed two chargesheets against seven individuals.
A NIA official stated that the chargesheet would prove the guilt of the accused.He also added that the chargesheet contained a lot evidence against the accused.
Further investigation is ongoing.
