New Delhi : , Nov 23, 2018 – India Inc is now opening its offices as a normal.This means that the Indian IT sector will likely have an estimated 4.5 million new hires (gross), in the second half 2022 fiscal year.A new report was released Tuesday.According to UnearthInsight, due to the high attrition rate of 17-19% in FY22’s second half, there will be an increase in IT industry employees of approximately 1.75 million.
Gaurav Vasu (Founder and CEO of UnearthInsight) stated that the hiring sector is likely to experience a strong momentum, with an industry-wide increase of 12 percent over H1 during the second half.
The report indicates that the Indian IT Services sector will likely see an 18-18% revenue increase for FY22.
Additionally, growth of “top 15-20” IT service firms and robust GCC/captive expansion will drive the market worth $230 to $240 billion.
More than 30 international IT service firms are expected to add nearly 250,000 new employees in FY22.
The findings revealed that IT service firms can control attrition by adding freshers in the following two quarters.
According to the report, $80-$100 Billion in Cloud service revenue is expected for the IT industry by 2030.
This was due to increasing Cloud services demand and competition between IT giants.
The report estimates $15 billion-20 billion in revenue by 2030 for the platform and software products business.
