He is now preparing for the launch of his Disney+ Hotstar series, “Dil Bekaraar”.
Raj Babbar and Poonam Dalton will also be appearing alongside Akshay, Padmini Kolhapure (Sahher Bamba), Medha Shankar, Padmini Kolhapure and Sukhmani Sadana).
Habib Faisal directs this show about love and ideologies in 1980s.
Akshay recently spoke out about the experience of working for director Habib Faisal.
Akshay said that Habib Faisal was a “specific” director.His eye for details is what makes him a unique director.
He makes sure everyone does their very best; he is there to help you every step of the way.His willingness to read and discuss things I was inspired by in the 1980s made it easier for me to do my job.
The series served as a “crash course” for him in understanding the 1980s.Because he knew so much about the characters, he could understand what their looks, sounds and feelings were.
His vision was precise and I could trust him to create my character.I found the series a great crash course in the 1980s, and it was thanks to Habib Faisal that my director.
“Dil Bekaraar”, produced by Sobo Films is set for release on Disney+ Hotstar starting November 26.
