New Delhi 22 November : .Hardik Pandya, the all-rounder for India is questionable for South Africa’s upcoming tour.
According to InsideSport, Hardik was asked to report at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).Selectors need him to recuperate and prove that he is fit to play for South Africa.
His shoulder injury from the T20 World Cup opening against Pakistan is being treated.Although it was thought that the injury to his shoulder is minor and he would be available to play in the series against New Zealand at home, he chose to withdraw due to an injury to his shoulder.
His recovery from an injury will depend mainly on his ability to rest.A BCCI official said that he should visit the NCA shortly and they will make a decision on whether he is fit enough to join our South Africa tour.
Hardik’s current fitness level is not at its best, which is alarming.
He is not at the right fitness level to play Test cricket.
We don’t want him to be rushed like we were before the World Cup.He will need time.The official said that he would be allowed to travel for the ODI series and T20 series if he was ready.
