Los Angeles, November 21st : .Netflix and Riot Games confirmed the production of the second season of Arcane, an animated series based on the League of Legends.
According to ‘Variety, the two companies announced the news at Saturday’s end of an event for fans (U.S.Time).Christian Linke, Alex Yee and co-creators of the series released a statement.
The second season will be aired on Netflix in the fall.Details about it are not yet available, however, Ella Purnell, Katie Leung and Hailee Steinfeld have been confirmed as reprising their roles of Vi and Jinx.
Netflix debuted the first season on Arcane on November 6.
“Arcane” is set in the universe of Riot Games and acts as the prequel to the game “League of Legends”, an extremely popular online battle-arena game that was first published in 2009 by Riot Games according to “Variety”.
The esports title ‘League” is a major one.Riot Games was started by Marc Merrill, Brandon Beck, and it is now led by CEO Nicolo Laurent.More than 2500 employees work for the company around the world.
