Los Angeles, November 18th : , Drake stopped the release of a song featuring French Montana because he wished to show his support for those who were affected by the Astroworld tragedy.Variety.com reports that the song “Splash Brothers” was to feature on Montana’s fourth studio album, “They Got Amnesia”, which will be out on November 19.
It is likely that the song will be available on a deluxe edition called ‘Amnesia.
Drake and Montana have worked together many times in the past, on hit songs like ‘Pop That”, ‘Stay Schemin,’ ‘No Stylist,’ and No Shopping.
Drake, who was an invited guest during Travis Scott’s Astroworld set finale, has been named in numerous lawsuits.The festival left 10 people dead, while many others were injured.
Drake posted the following statement on social media: “I’ve been trying to understand this terrible tragedy.My heart breaks for the loved ones and those who have lost their lives, and anyone else suffering.”
Scott responded to the tragedy immediately, saying, “I am absolutely distraught by what happened last night.Prayers go out for the Astroworld Festival victims and their families.
Houston PD is my complete support in their ongoing investigation into tragic deaths.Together with Houston’s community, I will work to support and heal the grieving families.
