Nushrratt plays the role of the protagonist in the film and recently spoke out about her journey to the project.
She bagged the film post a meet with her former producer Vikram Malhotra (Founder & CEO, Abundantia Entertainment).
After meeting Vikram Malhotra, founder and CEO of Abundantia Entertainment, she was able to secure the film.Talking about the same, the actress said, “He (Vikram) was my producer on ‘LSD’ when Balaji was doing it.The actress spoke about the subject and said that Vikram was her producer on LSD when Balaji was filming it.Then he was my producer on ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ when he was in Viacom and after that, so he’s known me for a while.”.He was then my producer on “Pyaar Ka Punnama” when he was with Viacom.
After that, he knew me for quite a while.
Narrating the incident from the day when she stepped into Malhotra’s office, and met producer Jack which turned out to be unexpectedly luckier for her, she went on, “That day when I went to office, he asked me to step in and meet the producer Jack.
She narrates the story of the moment she entered Malhotra’s office and met Jack.This was unexpectedly more fortunate for her.I had no clue who Jack was, Vikram just said he’s somebody tying up with him for a film.”.Vikram said that he was someone who is tying up to him for a movie.I didn’t know Jack.
“The first thing Jack asked me was my thoughts on Indian society and I was like, oh!.Jack first asked me about my views on Indian society.I was like “Oh! I further discussed with him things that I felt we need to improve, whether it’s education or population control, electricity or water supply or just basic things that people need to get on an everyday basis.I discussed with Jack the things I feel we should improve on, such as education, population control or electricity supply.So, this is how we chatted about India for like an hour (sic).”.We talked about India for almost an hour.
Soon after this conversation, Nushrratt came to know that there was a film they were planning to work on, and Jack found her perfect for the role.Nushrratt learned soon after that conversation that Jack had a film in mind and she was the perfect fit for it.“I think I was at the right place at the right time, and it was just a coincidence that Jack sat down in front of me before his flight and chatted with me.”I believe I was in the right place at right time.It was just a coincidence Jack sat down before his flight and chatted to me.And just like that I was on for the film.The film was over in no time.Simple.It was just one conversation.”.It was just one conversation.
