Andhra Pradesh state Ministers Adimulapu Suresh and Balineni Srinivasareddy released the IIIT Entrance – 2021 examination results at the Ongole IIIT Campus.Speaking on this occasion, Minister Adimulapu Suresh said that the examinations for admission into the four IIITs in the state were conducted transparently.
The Minister said that 71,207 students appeared for the entrance test for 4400 seats in the four IIITs in the state.With this, it is clear that 80 students competed for each seat.
The tests were conducted within ten days, and today, the results were released.However, counselling for these seats will start soon.
IIITs were started during the YSR regime to provide IIT level education to rural students.The construction of the buildings has been delayed due to the misappropriation of funds previously allocated for IIITs.
On the other hand, JEE (Main) Paper-2 results were also released.National Testing Agency (NTA) recently released the results of the JEE (Main) Paper-2 examination.
Paper 2-A is for admissions in architecture courses, while Paper-2B is for admissions into planning courses.National Testing Agency conducted these examinations on February 23 and September 2.However, the results were out today.
